ACTION CENTER ALERT-HELP COMPASSIONATE VETERINARIAN STRENGTHEN THE AVMA
Dear Friend,
Great news: John G. Hynes, DVM, a caring veterinarian for 18 years and an active PETA member, was recently nominated as an executive board representative for the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)! If Dr. Hynes is elected, he can work to strengthen AVMA policies and protect animals from within the organization.
In order to be elected to the position, Dr. Hynes must be selected by a majority of other veterinarians in District 1, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Ballots are currently being sent to veterinarians in these states. You can help Dr. Hynes—and animals—by contacting your local veterinarian and telling him or her why you feel that Dr. Hynes is the best candidate for the District 1 AVMA executive board representative. He urgently needs your help to get elected, as he is up against high-profile candidates who may be better known—but not necessarily better qualified.
With your help, he can achieve this goal from inside the organization, where his compassionate perspective is sorely needed. Please contact your local veterinarian today, as ballots have already been distributed.
On behalf of Dr. Hynes and animals everywhere, thank you for your help! Please feel free to contact Dr. Hynes at jghdvmpc@yahoo.com if you have any questions or would like more information.
Sincerely,
RaeLeann Smith
